During his childhood, Dr. Lee participated in martial arts and found he enjoyed taking pleasure in striving for excellence through hard work and dedication. This led him to obtain black belts in five martial arts disciplines, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and being invited to the Korean Karate World Championships in 1982. As he grew, his passion for excellence in the martial arts turned into an affinity for the medical profession.

Dr. Lee’s Path to World-Renowned Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Lee trained extensively to arrive at his best-in-class bi-coastal plastic surgeon title. In fact, he initially started off in dentistry and moved on to a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Upon completion of the residency program, Dr. Lee was invited to teach Oral Surgery at New York University, one of the top dental schools in the US and the World.
After spending two years in this highly prestigious position, Dr. Lee went on to obtain his MD from New York Medical College—followed up by a five-year residency at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Head and Neck lift surgery in Dubai.
After spending years focused on the head and neck throughout his medical training experience, Dr. Lee grew a deep appreciation for the facial form. In combination with his drive to help others, he decided that a career based on assisting people to achieve the best version of themselves was what he desired. To fulfill this dream, Dr. Lee went on to complete a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery—and subsequently opened private practices in Beverly Hills, CA, and Manhattan, NY.
